Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions Football Club gaffer Tanko Ibrahim is displeased with his team’s poor first half display against Accra Great Olympics FC.
The former Ghana Black Meteors head coach lamented on his players shambolic performance against the DADE Boys in the Accra Derby on Monday afternoon.
Tanko bemoaned his players first 45 minutes of the match display as they conceded three first half goals for the first time since their promotion two seasons ago in the Ghanaian top-flight.
“Very bad (performance); I mean we had a very bad first half I mean with two mistakes, we gave them the game. It’s very painful but they deserved to win,” he said.
“When you are down 3-0 in 20 minutes, definitely your confidence will vanish and I mean this is what happened. We are going to prepare for Real Tamale United on Friday and then hope that everything will be fine,” he added.
This is the second consecutive defeats for the team after losing to Kotoko and on Monday, 16 October 2023 against the Blue and Whites outfit.
