The first choice goalkeeper for Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions Football Club, Daniel Afful is eying more clean sheets after Man-Of-The-Match display against Legon Cities.
He reacted to his team’s win and his personal award after he was superb for his team which won him the accolade after the game.
The young shot stopper is hoping to keep more clean sheets in the ongoing 2023-24 League for his team.
“Credit to my teammates, they all did well. It was not only my effort. At a point I realize my teammates were tired and I had to step up,” he said.
The talented goalkeeper was named Man of the Match following his dazzling display.
“This is my first clean sheet in the season and I am hoping to keep more. Hopefully, I will do that in our next game,” he added.
