Ghana Black Stars skipper Andre Ayew will not be involved this evening when Al Sadd host Uzbekistan champions Nasaf FC in the Asian Champions League Group E game.
Ayew was not selected for the match day of squad by manager Javi Garcia for the game at the Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium in Doha.
Ayew joined Al Sadd last summer as a free agent agent after leaving Swansea City and was the club’s best player in his first season netting 15 goals in 21 games as they won the Qatar Stars League.
He is expected to be available for subsequent Group games against Al Faisaly and Al Wehdat.
