Ghanaian international Afriyie Acquah could be back to a familiar territory to continue his football.
Acquah terminated his contract with Saudi Arabian outfit Al Matin in December last year and he is now in the hunt for a new club.
Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively reveal that Acquah would be back in Italy baring any last minute hitch as Crotone are interested in his services.
The Serie B side are in need of a defensive midfielder after selling Godfred Donsah to Yeni Malatyaspor and they have identified Acquah as a good replacement.
Acquah had an illustrious career in Italy where he made a combined 193 appearances scoring eight goals and providing six assists for five teams.
