Aduana Stars have parted ways with coach Yaw Acheampong after a series of disappointing results in the current Ghana Premier League season.
The two-time league champions have struggled under Acheampong’s leadership, managing only two wins, six draws, and four losses. With just 12 points from 12 matches, the team is currently in 13th place in the standings.
Their recent 2-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko at Nana Agyemang Badu Park further intensified the pressure on Acheampong. The match saw a well-executed free-kick from Patrick Asiedu and a brilliant performance from Albert Amoah, which secured all three points for the Porcupine Warriors.
Following this disappointing run, Yaw Acheampong has been relieved of his duties, and assistant coach Paul Tandoh will take over on an interim basis until a permanent coach is appointed.
Acheampong joined Aduana Stars last season and helped the club finish in 5th place in the Ghana Premier League.
