Ahead of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Angola on Thursday, the Black Stars players are scheduled to arrive in Kumasi on Tuesday.
The match is expected to be a tough one as both teams are unbeaten in the qualifiers and seeking to maintain their record. Ghana coach, Chris Hughton, anticipates a full house by Monday evening, after which they will depart for Kumasi.
A total of 25 players have been called up for the AFCON doubleheader against Angola, with captain Andre Ayew being the first to report.
The Black Stars have not lost a match in Kumasi for the past 20 years and are strong favourites to win the upcoming match before travelling to Luanda for the second game.
Ghana currently leads the qualifying group with one win and a draw, while Angola is in close pursuit, with two victories likely to strengthen the Black Stars’ qualification chances.
