On Wednesday, Nigeria will play against South Africa while the host Ivory Coast will square off against DR Congo.

French league provided the most players with 90. English Premier League supplied 50 players. Spanish LaLiga also supplied 30 players with Bundesliga and Serie A Each supplying 20 players.
Saudi Arabia Leagues provided 75 players for the 2023 AFCON.
On the continent, 39 players ply their trade in South Africa. Tanzania and Egypt leagues each supplied 19 players.
The Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 provided 11 players while the Moroccan Botola Pro provided the 2023 AFCON with 4 players.
