Jean-Louis Gasset has named his final 27-man squad for the 2023 AFCON.

Galatasaray forward Wilfred Zaha is excluded as red-hot Yanga midfielder Pacome Zouzoua also is missing.

Simon Adingra was confirmed to probably miss the tournament due to a hamstring injury yesterday by Brighton & Hove Albion boss Roberto De Zerbi in his pre-match conference but he’s surprisingly included.

Bonafide superstars like Frank Kessie, Ibrahim Sangare, Sebastien Haller, Seko Fofana and Nicolas Pepe are included alongside experienced players like Serge Aurier, Jean Michel Seri and Max Gradel.

Ivory Coast is placed in Group A with Guinea Bissau, Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
