His Majesty King Mohammed VI is well revered in Morocco and countries that practice a monarchical system of government. Morocco practices a semi-constitutional monarchy led by King Mohammed VI.

Morocco is undeniably the best country in Africa when it comes to quality of life index – education, healthcare, employment, freedom, arts, visits, sports and infrastructure. The North Africans are, little by little, leaving their rivals behind in terms of everything.

This is all down to the incredible leadership of the famous king, His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The king has made the Moroccan diaspora love the country to the extent that when it comes to switching nationality to play for the Atlas Lions, Moroccans born outside Africa do not think twice.

Morocco’s team under Walid Regragui rocked the world in the 2022 World Cup by reaching the semi-finals and had many players born outside the country. The trend has been continuing, and the addition of Real Madrid ‘bonafide playmaker, Brahim Diaz, could be the icing on the cake.

The Real Madrid forward choosing Morocco at the expense of Spain was a bit hard, but he finally decided to play for the Africans, the country of his father.

The forward who played for Spain’s youth has thanked the King of Morocco and the citizens for the affection shown towards him since he switched nationality.

“I thank His Majesty King Mohammed VI and all the Moroccan people for the kindness and love they have given me,” Diaz said.

Moroccans are known to be football lovers and they cherish their superstars. Brahim Diaz is undoubtedly one of the kings of the Moroccan national team currently after hitting the ground running after wearing the famous red shirt.

Born in Malaga to a Spanish mother and a Moroccan father, the 25-year-old is expected to help Morocco win the imminent 2025 AFCON.

The forward has scored 7 goals in the 8 games played so far for the Moroccan national team.
