Sadio Mané talks about his early days at FC Bayern – and the importance he places on his relationship with the fans.
Sadio Mané has been convincing at FC Bayern since day one. The superstar didn’t need a warm-up time in Munich.
“I feel like I’ve been here for a very long time,” said the Senegalese during the Bavarian club’s traditional leather pants photo shoot.
He is “very lucky to be here” – although changing clubs is not always easy. In five matches with his new club, Mané has already scored four times. In the match against Borussia Mönchengladbach (1-1) alone, he was denied two goals.
Mané wants to make supporters proud
“I am very happy and proud to be part of this club,” said Mané, who also quickly made himself appreciated by the supporters: “It is very important for me to be loved. I always want to give my best and I want to make the fans happy and proud”.
