Nigerian international, Joe Aribo is set to undergo a medical test as his reported move to the Premier League beckons.

The 25-year-old is set to join the Saints for a reported fee of £6m plus add-ons which could potentially rise to £10m.

The move comes after the ex-Charlton Athletic midfielder reportedly rejected a contract extension at the Ibrox stadium with just a year left on his contract.

The highly regarded Sky Sports journalist reports that the Saints have agreed to personal terms with the Super Eagles midfielder and the medicals will follow in the next few days.

Aribo joined Glasgow Rangers in 2019 from Charlton Athletics. He scored 25 goals and recorded 26 assists in 148 matches across all competitions for the Gers.

He will be Southampton’s second summer signing after Romeo Lavia.
