Umar Sadiq is now a few details away from completing his transfer to Real Sociedad from UD Almeria.
Sadiq reportedly arrived at Real Sociedad for his medical examinations ahead of the €20m move.
The deal almost collapsed over some clauses infused in the contract by Almeria, but both parties have now resolved their differences, and the player was given permission to travel for his medical.
According to CKDmedia, Sadiq Umar arrived at Real Sociedad arena this afternoon, in the company of his childhood friend, Nura Muhammad, and his Agent.
Should everything go as planned, the Nigeria International will be announced as a Real Sociedad player later this evening.
The 25-year-old scored twice in three games for Almeria in the La Liga this season.
