Spanish trainer Carlos Alos Ferrer has been named as the new head coach of the Rwandan senior national team.
Alos, 47, replaces Vincent Mashami whose contract was not renewed due to poor performances.
The Spanish coach has been tasked to qualify the country to the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast and also build a strong team for the next CHAN Tournament.
Alos is not new to Africa having previously coached Moroccan giants FAR Rabat in 2019.
His last job was with Cypriot side Enosis Paralamni where he lasted from 2020 to 2021
