Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil has outperformed Mohammed Salah, the former African Player of the Year award winner and Nigeria and Napoli star Victor Osimhen, in terms of goal contributions in Europe this season.
Paintsil has been in exceptional form for KRC Genk, leading the team’s charge to win the 2022/23 Belgian Pro League title.
In the Pro League alone, Paintsil has scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists. His combined tally of goals and assists in all competitions is an impressive 27.
This remarkable feat puts him ahead of Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah and SSC Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
