Ghana’s female senior National team, the Black Queens of Ghana have won Bronze medal at the ongoing African Women Nations Cup in Cameroun.
Linda Eshun’s only goal in the second half ensured the Black Queens clinched the third spot position in the tournament after a goalless first half.
Ghana failed to meet their initial target of winning the ultimate title when they lost 1-0 to host Cameroun in their Semi- final match.
They beat South Africa 1-0 in Yaounde on Friday afternoon courtesy a 49th minute goal from Linda Eshun.
The grand finale clash will see nine time winners Nigeria and host Cameroun battling the main trophy.
