Hossam Aahour is the most decorated African footballer of all time, per Africa Soccer Zone. In a list released today, former Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ashour, who spent 17 years with Al Ahly, the Egyptian giants, tops the list with 39.
Out of the 31 players, Egypt has 25 players followed by Ivory Coast with 2, Nigeria, Tunisia, Angola and Cameroon-each has one.
Legendary footballers like Eto, Drogba, Yaya Toure and Nwankwo Kanu are all in the list.
