English Premier League side West Ham United, €42m offer for Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus rejected by Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports.
But sportsworldghana.com, however, understands that West Ham remain interested and will discuss whether to go back in with an improved offer.
Ajax do not want to sell and Kudus has started both Eredivisie matches for the Dutch club this season – scoring in the opening game and providing an assist in the second.
Also, Ajax, have turned an initial bid from Spanish powerhouse Barcelona to sign the Ghanaian international. Ajax are only keen on selling the star midfielder for more than €50million which is reportedly not within the budget of the Spanish giants.
The Black Stars midfielder who featured for his country at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, has entered the final two years of his contract.
