Former Asante Kotoko winger Francis Akwaffo and ex Hearts of Oak legend Bernard Don Bortey are not happt with the Black Stars coaches for constantly overlooking Ibrahim Imoro.
The duo believe the Kotoko left-back genuinely deserves a place in the Black Stars and the handlers have not been fair to him
“He is a good player. A typical left-back who runs throughout a game. The technical handlers of Ghana have not been fair to him.” Akwaffo told Pure FM
Bortey on the other hand emphasized that he has watched the player since his time at Karela and he merits a call up.
“A great player.I saw him at Karela and I enjoyed him during his days there. Let’s give him the opportunity.” Bortey added.
Imoro netted one goal and provided as many as eight assists in 26 games as the Porcupine Warriors won the league trophy.
