Dutch born Ghanaian striker Akwasi Asante was on target on Saturday evening at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea walloped Chesterfield by five goals to one in the FA Cup.
Asante netted the consolation goal for his side in the 80th minute after Timo Werner, Hudson-Odoi, Romelu Lukaku, Andreas Cristensen and Hakim Ziyech had given the EPL side a 5-0 lead.
The talented forward becomes the first non-league player to score an FA Cup goal against a side in the top two of the Premier League since Rocky Baptiste for Farnborough Town against Arsenal at Highbury nineteen ago.
This was Asante’s first game this season after six months on on the sidelines with injury.
