It takes a wonderful job to get a three-year extension of contract at a club like Al Ahly.
In a refreshing news for the Red Devils fraternity, it has been confirmed that Marcel Koller, 63, has renewed his contract with Al Ahly.
The Swiss-born former Basel manager joined the Red Devils in September 2022 on a two-year deal. The current deal is set to expire in the next three months and Al Ahly has decided to give him a long-term one.
Marcel Koller has won two CAF Champions League titles, two Egyptian Super Cups, One Egyptian Premier League and two Egyptian Cups since joining the legendary club.
He is considered a successful manager for Al Ahly after winning so many trophies within 20 months for the Egyptian giants.
Koller’s new contract will expire in 2027.
