Albanian club, Egnatia paid a glowing tribute to their departed player in their first game after the demise of the Ghanaian international.
The game which was played under a solemn atmosphere begun with a photoshoot of both clubs posing together with the jersey of the late player and bouquet of flowers.
The were was also a minute of silence observed in the memory of the late striker. It will be recalled the ex-Zurich player collapsed in a league match against Partizani on the 11th of November which subsequently led to his death in the hospital. The break for all leagues across the globe due to the world Cup qualifiers meant there were no league games for Egnatia until after the Word Cup qualifiers.
The week 13 fixture of the Albanian Superliga between the late Dwamena side and Partizani club ended in a 1-1 drawn game this afternoon.
The draw leaves Egnatia top of the league log with 27 points with the late Raphael Dwamena still on top of the goal scoring chart with 9 goals.
