2019 African Cup of Nations champions, Algeria have withdrawn their bid to host the continental showpiece in 2025 and 2027.
The Algerian Football Federation announced the decision as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) prepare to announce winners of the bid to host the 2025 and 2027 AFCON.
CAF is expected to announce the winners of the 2025 and 2027 AFCON hosting rights on Thursday, September 27 in Cairo, Egypt.

Senegal, Botswana, and Egypt are seeking to host the 2027 AFCON, while Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania have also launched a joint bid for the tournament.
