All is set for the national finals of the Milo Under 13 champions league at the Paa Joe park in Kumasi from June 20-23 after the zonal event ended in Koforidua.
The zone four event held at the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana in the Eastern region ,saw Amasaman M/A primary school from the Greater Accra region emerging as winners and qualified alongside St.Anthony R/C primary from the eastern region together with Nkwanta Redeem D/A primary school from the Volta region.
These schools will face a difficult task as other teams from the other three zones are also geared up for action with all aiming at the ultimate .Other qualified teams that would be competing for glory include Kaladan E/P primary school from the Northern region,Kundugud primary from the Upper West and St.Mark’s primary school from the Upper East.
The rest are Sepe Timpon M/A from the Ashanti region,Techimantia Methodist primary from Brong Ahafo region,Myoyang Forces primary from Western riogion and A&D Memorial Basic school from the Central region.
This years grand finale promises to be an action packed event and organizers are already looking forward to exciting games from these young budding talents at the Paa Joe Park at KNUST.
Winners are expected to take home a giant trophy ,medals,cash prize,footballs and other souvenirs from organizers of the event Nestle Ghana Limited (MILO).
