Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC captain, Ismail Abdul Ganiyu has thrown his support behind Ghana’s Black Stars ahead of AFCON opener against Morocco today.
The Porcupine Warriors skipper who has for some time now been part of the team did not make the cut for the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
Serbian tactician Milovan Rajevac dropped the center-back from his team as he named his provisional 30-man squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.
Nonetheless, the Kotoko captain has declared his unflinching support for the Stars as they begin their AFCON journey today against the Atlas Lions of Morocco.
“All the best of luck .Ghana first game day”, the Asante Kotoko SC captain wrote on social media.
