Ghanaian midfielder Richard Boadu is in a buoyant mood ahead of the 2023-24 campaign with his new club Al Ahly Benghazi in Libya.

He is raring to go after joining the Red and Whites outfit this summer as the team prepares for the prelims of the 2023-24 CAF Champions League competition.

The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC captain Richard Boadu has started training with his new club Al Ahly Benghazi after joining the Libya powerhouse.

Boadu has joined his teammates in training as they prepare for their sixth game this season in the Libya top-flight league.

His team, on the 18th of this month will host Nigerian champions Enyimba FC in the first leg of the 2023-24 CAF Champions League prelims at home.

Boadu and his teammates will be in Nigeria for the second leg scheduled for 25th August, 2023 as they hope to progress to the next stage of the competition.
