Ghanaian football legend Michael Essien has sent his congratulations to FC Nordjaelland for their impressive performance in the Danish Superliga, despite narrowly missing out on the title.
FC Copenhagen secured the championship with a one-point lead, while Nordjaelland accumulated 43 points.
Essien, currently serving as a coaching staff member for the Danish team, expressed his delight and admiration for their exceptional season. Since joining FC Nordjaelland as an assistant coach in September 2020, Essien has played a crucial role in providing inspiration and guidance during their ongoing coaching education.
Before his appointment by FCN, the former Chelsea and Real Madrid player underwent training in Denmark in August 2020, which ultimately led to his current position with the club.
