Black Stars defender, Mohammed Salisu has expressed his excitement after scoring his first goal for Ghana at the World Cup.
The goal is his first competitive strike for Ghana in his five appearance in Ghana jersey against the Asian powerhouse South Korea on Monday afternoon.
“Amazing team performance and support. Happy to get my first FIFA World Cup goal. All focus on Friday now”, he wrote on social media.
He first scored for Ghana in Ghana’s Pre-World friendly win over Switzerland before heading to Qatar.
His goal helped the Black Stars to pick their first win at the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar and their first win in six games at the FIFA Mundial.
