Samuel Amo-Ameyaw produced a sensational late cameo for RC Strasbourg, scoring twice as they thrashed ESTAC Troyes 6-2 in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.
The English-born Ghanaian winger came off the bench in the 63rd minute and made an immediate impact, scoring in the 85th and 88th minutes to cap a remarkable attacking display.
Amo-Ameyaw’s first goal arrived with five minutes of normal time remaining, before he struck again three minutes later to complete his brace and further extend Strasbourg’s commanding advantage.
The result was Strasbourg’s fourth consecutive Ligue 1 away victory against a newly promoted side.
