Three players from Ampem Darkoa have earned spots in the best eleven of the CAF Women’s Champions League group stage.
Comfort Yeboah, who scored two goals in the opening match against AS FAR, along with defender Abena Opoku and forward Tracey Twum, have all been included in the team of the first round.
They are joined by Sundowns trio Andile Dlamini, Refilwe Tholakele, and Joyce Rebale. Oumou Kone of AS Mande and Meryem Hajri also secured places, alongside AS FAR trio Zineb Ridouani, Ghizlane Chebak, and Fatima Tagnouat.
Tracey Twum’s brace in the match against Huracanes played a crucial role in Ampem Darkoa’s advancement to the semi-finals.
Ampem Darkoa is set to face Moroccan side Sporting Club Casablanca for a chance to reach the final, where they could potentially meet the winner of the match between Mamelodi Sundowns and AS FAR.
