The forward was on target to inspire his side to a 2-1 victory over their rivals.

Andre Ayew took advantage of his opportunity in the seventh minute of the away game to put the home team’s goal in.
The Ghana captain continued to perform admirably for the rest of the game, supporting his team’s effort to earn a crucial victory away from home.
Al-Sadd SC increased their advantage during the game in the 51st minute when Akram Afif also scored.
Even though Al Rayyan’s Steven Nzonzi scored a consolation goal in the 56th minute, it wasn’t enough to prevent Andre Ayew and his colleagues from winning.
