Black Stars captain Andre Ayew revealed his happiness with the team performance against Portugal on Thursday despite the defeat.
Ghana lost 3-2 against Portugal in a pulsating affair. Andre Ayew himself found the net whilst Osman Bukari added another.
For Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo, Rafael Leao and Joao Felix found the net.
”Our game plan was really working well, we were solid. The penalty looks a little bit harsh. But I have a lot confidence in what I saw today” Ayew told the media after the game.
Ghana will face Uruguay and South Korea in their next group games.
