Black Stars captain Andre Ayew is currently the leading goalscorer for the country at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Al Sadd forward registered his 10th AFCON goal against Gabon last Friday to become Ghana’s top scorer at the African’s biggest football tournament, surpassing legendary Asamoah Gyan, who has eight goals.
The 33-year-old Ghanaian surpassed Egyptian legend Ahmed Hassan (32 games) to become the 2nd most-games player in the competition’s history behind Cameroonian Rigobert Song (36 games).
