Antoine Semenyo has joined the Black Stars camp in Wales, increasing the number of players in camp to 25 as Ghana intensifies preparations for its international friendly against Wales and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The forward arrived on Saturday evening and immediately linked up with his teammates as preparations continued ahead of Tuesday’s clash at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Semenyo took part in team activities shortly after his arrival and is expected to feature in the squad’s training session at Dragon Park as head coach Carlos Queiroz continues to shape his team for the upcoming assignments.
The Black Stars have been gradually assembling their squad in Wales, with several key players already participating in training sessions. Among those currently in camp are captain Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey, Inaki Williams, Ernest Nuamah, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Kamal Deen Sulemana, Caleb Yirenkyi, Christopher Bonsu Baah and Brandon Thomas-Asante.
Goalkeepers Benjamin Asare, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Joseph Anang and Solomon Agbasi have also reported, alongside defenders Baba Abdul Rahman, Gideon Mensah, Alidu Seidu, Abdul Mumin, Jerome Opoku and Jonas Adjetey.
Midfielders Elisha Owusu, Kwasi Sibo and Paul Reverson are also in camp, while Prince Kwabena Adu and Marvin Senaya continue preparations with the rest of the squad.
Ghana will face Wales on June 2 in Cardiff in a crucial warm-up match as the Black Stars continue their build-up to the FIFA World Cup in North America.
