Ghanaian international Antoine Semenyo has opened up about his difficult path to the Premier League, revealing that his football journey began with painful rejection.
The Bournemouth winger said being turned down by several clubs, especially Crystal Palace, was a tough experience that nearly shattered his confidence. But he chose to keep pushing.
Semenyo, who did not pass through the traditional academy system, instead played college football before earning a chance with Bristol City. He believes that learning the game in his own way helped him build creativity and resilience.
Today, the 25-year-old is among the Premier League’s most in-form forwards, second only to Erling Haaland in goals this season.
