Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo has kicked off pre-season training with AFC Bournemouth as the club begins preparations for the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
The 25-year-old reported to training on Monday, joining his teammates as manager Andoni Iraola led the squad through initial gym sessions and on-pitch drills.
Semenyo recently committed his future to the Cherries by signing a new contract that will keep him at Vitality Stadium until the summer of 2030. The extension comes despite reported interest from top Premier League sides, including Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur.
Speaking after penning the deal, Semenyo expressed his excitement about continuing his journey with Bournemouth. “I’ve grown so much at the club, both on and off the pitch, and I’m really happy to have signed ahead of returning for pre-season,” he said.
Bournemouth are expected to ramp up their pre-season preparations with a string of friendly matches, including a planned tour of the United States, before the league resumes in August.
