Ghana international Antoine Semenyo found the back of the net as AFC Bournemouth cruised to a dominant 5-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League on Saturday at the Vitality Stadium.
Semenyo, who started and played the full match, was instrumental as the Cherries dismantled their opponents to claim maximum points.
The home side took an early lead when Justin Kluivert scored just nine minutes into the game. Bournemouth maintained their slight advantage heading into halftime before an explosive second-half performance sealed a resounding victory.
Burkina Faso international Dango Ouattara stole the spotlight with a stunning hat-trick, starting with a 55th-minute goal assisted by Kluivert. He doubled his tally in the 61st minute with an assist from Tyler Adams before completing his hat-trick in the 87th minute.
Semenyo capped the emphatic win by scoring in stoppage time, putting the final touch on Bournemouth’s commanding performance.
The 25-year-old has been in stellar form this season, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in 22 Premier League appearances. Across all competitions, Semenyo boasts eight goals and four assists in 24 games, solidifying his status as a key player for the Cherries.
