Ghana’s Black Stars captain Andre Ayew says apart from some few senior players in the team, no player is guaranteed a place to play for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.

The Ghana captain was speaking ahead of the 2022 Pre-World Cup friendly match against Nicaragua on Tuesday evening in Spain.

According to him, only some senior players have got an advantage going into the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year.

He stated that, no player apart from the senior players who have an advantage is guaranteed a place in the Black Stars squad for the mundial in November.

“Apart from some senior players who have an advantage no player is guaranteed a place in the Black Stars squad just yet” he stated.

This tournament will be Andre Ayew’s third World Cup tournament since making his debut at the World Cup in 2010 in South Africa when Ghana reached the last eight.

Ghana are in the same group as Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H.
