Nottingham Forest have made a minimum £25million offer for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.
The bid does not match the Gunners’ minimum £30million valuation and talks between both clubs over a switch are continuing with a view to reaching an agreement.
Nketiah can leave the Emirates and saw a move to Marseille fall through earlier this summer after the French side refused to meet Arsenal’s asking price.
But Forest are now trying to tempt their Premier League rivals into selling Nketiah, who was picked for England last season.
Mail Sport reports that their current offer is worth at least £25million, which could rise further according additional bonus payments.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace also have a long term interest in Nketiah but Forest now appear to be in pole position to sign the centre forward.
