Arsenal Star Thomas Partey has been handed over the captain armband for the Black Stars game against Algeria in Doha, Qatar.
Partey captains the team in the absence of substantive captain Andre Ayew who sit on the bench for the Pre-AFCON friendly game this afternoon.
Partey joined the Ghana squad on Tuesday morning and has been given the starting berth in the midfield of three as he partners Edmund Addo and Joseph Paintsil.
The game kicks off at 4pm.
