Ghana’s Black Meteors player, Ernest Nuamah is livid with the team’s output at the 2023 CAF U-23 Championship in Morocco.
The youngster has called out the whole team not to hide their faces but face the consequences of a poor outing at the tournament following a group stage exit.
As a group if we ever have the opportunity again Ghana deserves better. I made some wrong decisions but I am grateful for this opportunity”, he Tweeted.
“No excuses but our performances as a group was below expectations but personally I could do better to help the team.”
Nuamah scored one goal at the competition for Ghana’s failed Olympic team in their 3-2 win over Congo Brazzaville in their first game of the 2023 CAF U-23 Championship.
He was accused of being uncommitted player as it was reported that he skipped training before Ghana’s final and crucial game against Guinea which ended in a draw and leading to Ghana’s elimination from the competition.
