AC Milan French-born midfielder Yacine Adli has revealed his willingness to play for France at the expense of Algeria.
Yacine Adli, 23, born in Vitry-sur-Seine, France to Algerian parents has represented France at U16, U17, U18, U19 and U20 levels.
“As a player, I aim to play at the highest level, so playing for France is my main goal,” said Yacine Adli,” said Adli.
The AC Milan midfielder has been courted by Algeria for a while and when quizzed about which of the two countries he intends to play for, the youngster chose France.
Algeria has won the signatures of players born and raised in France with Algerian descent like Mahrez, Bentalib, and Ismael Banacer recently among many others but lost Nabir Fekir and is set to lose Yacine Adli to the 2018 world champions.
The former PSG and Bordeaux midfielder has made 17 appearances in the Serie A for AC Milan in the current season.
