Ghanaian footballer Mohammed Salisu praised AS Monaco’s impressive performance after they defeated Brest in the French Ligue 1 match. Salisu, a defender for the Black Stars, played the entire game as Monaco secured a 2-0 victory over Brest on Sunday.

Salisu’s defensive skills were crucial for Monaco as they earned all three points in the highly anticipated match at the Stade Francis-Le Blé. After the game, Salisu took to social media to express his happiness about his team’s win. He wrote, “Important win and amazing character from the lads. We keep going, see you on Wednesday.”

Monaco took the lead in the 40th minute when Denis Zakaria scored, giving them an advantage going into halftime. With a determined effort, Monaco scored again just three minutes into the second half, securing the victory.

Despite facing injury setbacks, the 25-year-old Salisu has managed to play in only ten games across various competitions, even providing an assist.

The victory over Brest was a significant achievement for Monaco, demonstrating their strength and determination as a team. Salisu’s presence on the field helped bolster Monaco’s defense, contributing to their success.

Monaco’s performance in the match showcased their resilience and skill, earning them praise from fans and players alike. Salisu’s dedication and hard work have been evident throughout the season, despite facing challenges due to injuries.

As Monaco continues their campaign in the French Ligue 1, Salisu’s contributions on the field will be crucial to their success. His commitment to the team and his defensive prowess make him a valuable asset for Monaco.

Looking ahead to their next match on Wednesday, Monaco will aim to build on their recent victory and maintain their momentum in the league. With players like Salisu leading the charge, Monaco remains a formidable opponent in the French Ligue 1.
