Asamoah Gyan, a former Ghanaian football star and the national team’s all-time top scorer, has spoken out about his position on politics. He admitted that he has not been completely fair to the youth and people of Ghana in the past. Reflecting on this, Gyan has now distanced himself from any political party affiliations.
He expressed his desire to focus on humanitarian efforts and continue helping the youth of Ghana in his own way. “I haven’t been fair to the youth and the people of Ghana. Henceforth, I am not affiliated to any political party,” Gyan said.
His decision to avoid political involvement comes as he wishes for a peaceful election in the country. He emphasized that his future actions will not be influenced by any political group. “Nothing political,” he stated firmly.
Gyan also took the time to send good wishes to all political parties ahead of Ghana’s upcoming elections. He hopes the election will be calm and successful for everyone involved.
“I wish all the political parties a peaceful election on the 7th December. God bless our homeland Ghana,” Gyan concluded, leaving a message of unity and hope.
