Ghanaian champions Medeama SC striker Jonathan Sowah says legendary Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan is his role model.
The young lad revealed that he’s always loved the all time top scorer for Ghana since childhood and likes everything about the legend.
According to him, his mother used to call him Asamoah Gyan when he started playing football and has learnt a lot from the former Sunderland AFC man.
Sowah was a second half substitute as he came on to replace Antoine Semenyo in Ghana’s Black Stars friendly win over the Lone Stars of Liberia.
He powered Medeama SC to their first ever title win in Ghana with 12 goals in just the second round of the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League.
