Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan has thrown his support behind his manager, Samuel Anim Addo who lost in the Ghana Football Association elections.
Samuel Anim Addo missed out on the three slots allocated to the Division One League on the Executive Council.
Out of the 5 people who contested for the 3 Executive Council slots allocated to the Division One League, Samuel Anim Addo got the lowest votes which was 14.
Anim Addo took to Twitter to thank God for giving him the opportunity to serve for the past 4 years.
“The Lord Has Spoken Thank you Jesus , am still grateful . Yes this was another victory for me in your eyes . Thank you Jesus Christ,” he tweeted.
Asamoah Gyan who was happy about his manager’s strong mentality in the midst of defeat replied with “That’s the spirit.”
While Anim Addo lost, Mark Addo, Gideon Fosu and Eugene Nobel Amon Noel pick one slot eat on the council.
