Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has heaped praises on midfielder Justice Blay following his impressive showings in the Porcupines narrow win over King Faisal.

The former Medeama SC kingpin was deployed as a makeshift center-back as the Reds beat their City rivals by a lone goal on Sunday afternoon.

Due to his display in the crucial win, the Kotoko coach had this to say about the player after the game;

“For Justice Blay, I’m happy for him but I’m not surprised because if you look at how he plays as a defensive midfielder as a pivot, he always sits right in front of the two centre backs.

“So playing a defensive midfielder and a centre back, there isn’t so much difference in it.

“If you look at him typically, I think he is cast in the mould of a centre back.

“I’m not surprised he got his vision, awareness,passes, everything correct.

“I’m happy for him and I think with the situation we have now with our centre backs is a worry to us but then the medical team is trying to work it out.” Prosper Narteh Ogum told the press.
