Asante Kotoko name 25-man squad for Medeama SC showdown at TnA stadium inauguration

Asante Kotoko head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has announced a 25-man squad for their highly anticipated clash against Medeama SC on Friday, August 16, 2024.

The match will mark the official inauguration of the new T and A Stadium in Tarkwa.

This historic encounter will be a significant moment for both Medeama and the Tarkwa community, as the new ultra-modern stadium, equipped to host both local and international football matches, is unveiled. The game is set to kick off at 17:00 GMT.

Asante Kotoko will field a strong lineup for the occasion, with the exception of Sharif Mohammed, who is sidelined due to injury.

Following the Medeama match, the team will head to Elmina on Sunday, August 18, to continue the second phase of their preseason preparations.
