After a massive squad overhaul that saw them part ways with 18 players, Asante Kotoko have wasted no time in starting their rebuilding process for the upcoming 2023/24 football season.
According to reports, the Porcupines have set their sights on securing the services of Bofoakwa Tano FC captain Saaka Dauda.
The 24-year-old attacker has been in outstanding form for the ‘Esuo Eyiri Pe Bre’ outfit, playing a vital role in their promotion back to the topflight after 16 years in division one. He has also impressed in the Premier League, netting 8 goals in 32 matches this season, despite his team’s relegation.
Asante Kotoko are eager to capitalize on Dauda’s form and have made moves to secure his signature in the coming weeks. The Ghanaian giants are not alone in their pursuit, with several other clubs also interested in luring the talented forward from Bofoakwa Tano FC.
Dauda will play his final game for Bofoakwa Tano FC this Sunday, June 23, when they face Nsoatreman FC in the MTN FA Cup final.u
