Asante Kotoko has bolstered their roster for the upcoming season by securing the services of 18-year-old goalkeeper Fatao Seidu until the culmination of the 2025/26 season.
The Porcupineshave successfully finalized the signing of the youthful shot-stopper, Fatao Seidu, in the ongoing transfer window.
Seidu’s transition to the club comes from PAC Academy, a newly-promoted Division One League outfit.
With this move, Seidu becomes the fourth goalkeeper to join the ranks of Asante Kotoko, complementing the existing talents of Danlad Ibrahim, Frederick Asare, and Moise Pouaty in the goalkeeping department.
The acquisition of Fatao Seidu is part of Asante Kotoko’s broader recruitment strategy for the transfer window. The club has already secured the signatures of Nanabayin Amoah, Yahaya Dawuni, Yussif Mohammed Nurudeen, Henry Ansu, Kalo Ouattara, Andrews Ntim Manu, and Bernard Somuah.
Sources reveal that Seidu will join Kotoko’s Youth Team for next season.
Under the guidance of Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, the team is currently immersed in preparations at Nsuta Beposo for the upcoming 2023/24 season campaign. The season will commence with a fixture against Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
