Solomon Sarfo Taylor, the forward for Asante Kotoko, has attributed his struggles this season to recurring injuries.
Since joining Asante Kotoko from Karela United, Sarfo Taylor has failed to meet the expectations set for him in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign, largely due to his injury setbacks.
Sarfo Taylor’s goal contributions have not been at their best throughout the 2022/23 season. However, as the season approaches its conclusion, the forward has started to regain his form.
According to Sarfo Taylor, his current resurgence in form can be attributed to the support he has received from his coaches and teammates, as well as his own hard work.
He explained that injuries hampered his performance during the first round of the season. However, he made a conscious decision to elevate his game and contribute more to help his team achieve their objectives.
“My coaches and playing mates have helped me a lot, I also work hard. Due to injuries, I could not perform in the first round of the season but I decided to uplift my performance to help my team achieve their aim”
Asante Kotoko currently sits in 4th place on the Ghana Premier League table with two remaining games in the season. Sarfo Taylor’s improved performance will be crucial for the team as they strive to finish the season on a high note.
